Stuff you never wanted to know about me but you read it anyways
Hi Everyone!
I've been collecting Redlines since 1968
when I was 8 years old. I've become more active in collecting since 2002 when I retired from the military after 22.5 years. I'm a Disabled Gulf War
Veteran, as well a Veteran of the Cold War. I spent time in the Philippine Islands, Okinawa Japan, Korea, England, Germany, France, Ireland, and Scotland. I've also been to 49 states, and even Guam, but I'm leaving
Alaska for last. I plan
on taking my children to Northern Alaska by train not only to visit one of the most pristine and unspoiled states left, but to see and share the aura borealis
with my two girls before they grow up, plus it's on the top of the list.
I'm originally from a little town in California called Running Springs, just 6000 feet above sea level in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, looking over
San Bernardino in
the Los Angeles Basin. I graduated from Rim of
the World High
School in 1979, yea it exists, I also earned a BSBA and an MSBA degree. Recently,
I've started a few other projects to keep me out of trouble, I'm currently working on the ground floor of an actual land based diecast collectors club
for Central/Upstate New York. I still have 28 mint U.S. Redlines, some in cards from my childhood. However my collection is getting bigger every year. With my
collection, and starting up a new club, I think I'll be having a busy summer.
I look forward to meeting everybody! ![]()
