   Oh, but that makes it even more fun. Granted I'm not a X/Ber myself, but throwing an older and experienced Gabrielle into the mix would definitely be interesting to see.
   
   Mine isn't really that epic, but more a play on an idea I got from watching AFIN. How far back in time would you transport Gabrielle? At the moment I'm moving Gabrielle to somewhere around after the flashback events in The Debt. But it's bloody annoying how fluid those 10 years of evil warlording is. There's no real established timeline.

   Yeah, the timeline's always a bitch. One of my friends cracked me up when I first started trying to research all the mythology and make sure I got everything right when I dove into writing in this fandom, and she told me, "The important thing to remember, is that everything happened Ten Winters Ago". :D
   
   The canon timeline is so implausible, you can really do anything you want and make it work.
   
   But, yeah, the X/B X/G is a rich ground to play in. But I'm actually doing a bit of that in my X/B fic, which has Borias in the present day (about 3rd season) travelling with Xena and Gabrielle for a few days (long story LOL), so I need to finish that before I decide what angle to work in the AU.
   
   Oh, for the time to write!!!!!

   Hehe, yeah I know. I've got this one story I've been working on for over a year now which I really should finish. I think gravitystar is getting a little frustrated at me, she's beta-ing, but I never seem to be able to finish it. All that self-discipline.
   
   Oh, I didn't think about that, you're a Xena/Borias shipper aren't ya? Will you be playing that card in the AU story one as well?

   As for the X/B in the AU fic, yes, I'm afraid my brain wouldn't be able to ignore that in that time-frame... I've been working on ways to balance it... it's a challenge. :)

   Oh, no kidding!! I have a Xena/Borias sligihtly less sweeping epic I'm already well into that I really want to make myself finish first, but after that, I might just have to tackle the AU epic. So, yes, I would happily push you forward as I go. :) I want to read yours!!

   hehe not at the moment. I love mostly conqueror stories where somehow Gabrielle gets hurt and Xena goes insane in madness. Know any stories at the moment that have an instance of that?

   You know, I love it when theres hurt and comfort scenes in Fanfiction. I take it you might be a fan of Conqueror fanfiction? :)

   Oooh, yeah. Good conqueror fic is fabulous. :) The first major Xena fic I ever read was Texbard's "Destiny Conquered" and it pretty much took over my brain for about a month. LOL Any good Conqueror/hurt/comfort recs? ::she asks hopefully::

   Ha! :D Yeah, that came out of a thread discussion, in which I discovered apparently I AM the token torture/whumping/angst whore of the XOC (who's favorite scenes are often the slow-motion torture sequences), so I just had to make it official. :D Every fandom I go to, I seem to thrive on beating up my favorite character then writing the hurt/comfort to follow. Warped, I know. LOL
